Positioned on a crossroad between the Museum of Islamic Art and the new National Museum in Qatar’s cultural district, the 20-storey hotel has a design signature through its unique facade that gives it a regional identity, with its culturally charged motif inspired by the traditional mashrabiya pattern. The density of the pattern on the glass changes depending on where more or less light needs to be allowed into the structure.
